15th Annual Turkey Trot
Thu
Nov 26
The Turkey Trot has become one of the biggest races in Midland and is enjoyed by families year after year. This family friendly event will be hosted and benefit Addy's Hope Social Services. The Turkey Trot has turned into a favorite Thanksgiving Day family tradition for many and we are excited to continue that tradition! Last year, over 1,300 people took part in the race and we are preparing for a larger number this year. Addy's Hope Social Services is a local nonprofit that addresses the orphan crisis we face in Texas and here in the Periman Basin. Close to 4,700 Texas children are waiting for a family to call their own and many of those children reside in the Permian Basin. Addy's Hope is working to help these children find their forever homes. All funds raised stay in the Permian Basin.
