2022-09-29 2022-09-29 Volunteer Opportunity with the Midland Baptist CRISIS Center

Would you like to be a part of helping clothe needy children in the Permian Basin, with just an hour and a half of your time?  We are gearing up for our next Rhea Lana pickup day!  The Rhea Lana Children’s Consignment Sale blesses the Midland Baptist Crisis Center with all unsold leftover items from their sale!

Picking it all up requires a 26 foot Uhaul, a DRIVER, and at LEAST 30 volunteers!

➡️ WHEN: Thursday, Sept 29 from 2:00-3:30 pm.

➡️ WHERE: Midland County Horseshoe

➡️ WHAT you will be doing: You will be taking clothing with the hanger off the clothing racks, and put in large trash bags.  Put those trash bags in the Uhaul.  There will also be baby items (From bibs to cribs!) that we will need help loading. We will not ask anyone to do heavy lifting unless they specify they are able and willing to do so.  The clothing bags are manageable and easy.

➡️ WHY: We clothe kids and families in need all year long.  The children’s clothing, shoes, and supplies from Rhea Lana supplies us with hundreds of outfits for children in the Permian Basin!

➡️ HOW YOU CAN HELP:  Sign up to be at the Horseshoe at 1:45 pm on Sept. 29, by sending an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
